What Do We Grow?

It all begins in Spring with the first of the season’s blooms! March through May we have an abundance of spring blooms beginning with our Daffodils, followed by Tulips, Ranunculus, and Anemones. We also have late-spring/early-summer blooms such as Bachelor’s Buttons, Snapdragons, and Delphiniums which can sometimes last through June.

June through August is our fullest growing season where we have the largest variety of flowers growing at once. Our stars of summer are the several varieties of Sunflowers, Zinnias, and Celosia we grow. We also grow Snapdragons, Yarrow, Strawflower, Feverfew, Dara, and Gomphrena to name a few.

September through October is when our Dahlias really shine. Of all the flowers we grow, we have the largest variety of Dahlias because we just love them so much. This time of year we also grow Rudbeckia, Zinnias, Sunflowers, Amaranth, Heirloom Mums, and Celosia.

How We Grow

As a regenerative flower farm, we strive to make sustainability at the core of every decision we make. We focus on regenerating the soil, while ensuring all of our farming practices are people, planet, and pollinator friendly. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals on our farm, and we practice no-till soil management.

As part of our regenerative focus, our farm operates 100% seasonally and produces field-grown flowers. We do not use fossil fuels or resources to grow flowers outside of their natural season, nor do we grow invasive flower species.

We strive to have a zero-waste, closed loop farm: weeds and food scraps go to our chickens, which turn them into fertilizer, which we compost along with other farm plant waste to apply back to our field as an organic soil amendment. We focus on plastic reduction through our use of 100% compostable bouquet wraps and reusable jars. We also accept all floral waste from floral events we do to be donated, dried and repurposed, or composted.
